COMMENTARY

Dreaming I was dreaming music video is inspired by the French avant-garde of the 1920s. Apart from the Russian Ballet, Cubism, Futurism and Primitivism, the most recognizable part is Man Ray’s photograph of Kiki de Montparnasse with a baoule mask, Noire et Blanche, that Amuro Namie reenacts.
