The questions asked were quite dumb but here are some interesting things:
*The baby’s face is like Amuro’s and the eyes are not slanted.
*Amuro was feeling sick around noon and went to the hospital. [Does that mean she was in labor for 12 hours?]
*The name for the baby is not going to have the kanji for their names that some people must have thought they were going to do. The name is still being decided. [Umm..how will I explain this…For example, my friends Hiroshi and Yuko have the same kanji for their first name. Same Kanji different meaning. The question asked if they will do something like that using their names].
*Amuro didn’t cry when the baby was born…only Sam and the baby.
*Sam was asked if their will be a commercial that will include the three of them perform as a family. Sam said no [It was either no to the fact that the three of them will perform or “no” that he will not be in it].
*Amuro said the baby looks like her.
*After the pregnancy, Amuro wanted to go outside but of course she couldn’t because of the media.
*Sam said he and Amuro are unsure of what kind of parents they are going to be because they are still surprised that they are parents.
*The baby is healthy and Amuro is doing well.
*The part where they are all laughing is when Sam said he will teach his kids how to dance.
*Also, people were laughing when they asked about the color of the baby…if he’s dark skinned and Sam said the baby is not dark but he’s not sure.

Rising Production president Tetsuo Taira (51) (aka Johnny Taira) visited Maruyama Kinen Sogo Byoin on May 19 to see Namie Amuro (20). The president said to Namie, “Congratulation!” and added “You don’t have to worry about your singer job.” Taira commented to the press, “I don’t know when she comes back, but we’re ready to restart.” In addition to the president, several persons visited the hospital, including Namie’s mother Emiko Amuro (47). In Okinawa, her grandmother Mie Hira (77) expressed great happiness to the press.

On May 19, Namie delivered a 2.7kg baby boy around 1:08am at Maruyama Kinen Sogo Byoin. Namie and Sam named their son Haruto which the first kanji of this name is taken from Sam’s japanese name MasaHARU. I heard that Namie wants another baby because she doesn’t want Haruto to be lonely being the only child. Namie’s mother visited Namie a lot and help them with taking care of Haruto.
-Not too long after Namie’s baby boy was born, Sam’s father passed and Namie is very sad over this. Sam’s father is the president of Maruyama Kinen Sogo Hospital, the hospital where Namie gave birth to her baby.
