Zigen Takashi

ZIGEN (1959- ) is a photographer who has previously worked in Paris assisting Peter Lindbergh and whose work is frequently exhibited in art galleries. He shot Amuro Namie’s #19770920 and KOSÉ Visée’s autumn 1997 campaign. Incidentally, he also shot MAX NANA’s photobook and a few advertising campaigns featuring the band.
In September 2017, he posted messages dedicated to Amuro Namie on instagram, twitter and facebook, commeting that the last day of #19770920 shooting took place on Amuro’s 19th birthday in Jamaica. He remembered how she confronted the shooting with much sincerity.
