Will Wheaton Jr. (b. Willie Mack Wheaton Jr., 1972- ) is an American singer, songwriter and bassist based in California. He pursues his career both as a solo singer and a background vocalist for international artists. In 1992, he won a talent competition that led him to a recording contract and many prizes. He was then selected by producer David Foster to be part of the band Next Millennium for which he wrote and produced several songs. He additionally founded his own label Platinum Bass Records.

He provided background vocals for many Amuro Namie’s songs between 1997 and 2002 and was part of her live band until TOUR GENIUS 2000.

His collaborations include Natalie Cole, Coolio, Céline Dion, Michael Jackson, Willy DeVille, Montell Jordan, Kenny Loggins, Rod Stewart, Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Anastacia and many others.
