Valerie Mayo-Pinkston is an American singer, songwriter and keyboardist who has pursued a career both as a solo artist and a live and studio musician for others. She provided background vocals for several Amuro Namie songs on 1997 album Concentration 20 and was part of her live band the same summer.

Her collaborations include Al Turner, Michael J. Powell, Oleta Adams, Paulinho Da Costa, Lenny Castro, Michael Landau, Paul Jackson Jr., Haddaway, Willy DeVille, Julio Iglesias and many others.
