Takakuwa Hideyo (1961- ) is a a flutist who founded Takakuwa Hideyo Woodwind Group and belongs to Symphonic Orchestra Yamato, Inazuma Caravan Orchestra, Ragen Blue Symphonic Orchestra, Rayeart Grand Orchestra and SEATBELTS. He contributed to many soundtracks and works both as a studio and live musician. He played the flute for Amuro Namie’s 2011 song Tempest.
His collaborations include Shiina Ringo, Utada Hikaru, Fukuyama Masahaku, Aki Angela, Hirai Ken, JUJU, Kinki Kids, PUFFY, SUPERFLY, EVERY LITTLE THING, MISIA and many others.
