Ohmura Shinji

Ohmura Shinji is a guitarist, singer and music producer who belongs to the band MIDNIGHTSUNS. He also works as a studio and live musician for other artists. Not only did he play the guitar for Amuro Namie’s songs Baby Don’t Cry, Shut Up, Break It and Damage, but he was also part of her band for her BEST FICTION TOUR 2008-2009.
His collaborations include Takahashi Yukihiro, MEG, Tsuchiya Anna, Kamiki Aya, Hatsune Miku, ONEOKROCK, Muto Ayami and many others.
In September 2018, he dedicated messages to Amuro Namie on twitter and instagram. He wrote that when he used to listen to SWEET 19 BLUES, he never thought the day of her retirement would come. He added that he was honored to have been able to play the guitar for her, thanked her for these years and wished her a happy rest.
