Alex Brown (b. Alexandra Louise Born) is an American singer, songwriter and producer who started as a member of The Raelettes. She pursued her career both as a solo performer and a background vocalist for international artists. She contributed to several Amuro Namie songs between 1999 and 2002.

Her collaborations include ANRI, Leonard Cohen, Céline Dion, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Quincy Jones, Patti LaBelle, Dolly Parton, Diana Ross, SING LIKE TALKING, Stevie Wonder and many others. She has also co-written Anita Baker’s 1988 song Just Because.
