It has been nine months since Amuro Namie has retired, and Japan’s Queen of Pop has managed to set another record.

On June 16th, Amuro’s singles and albums were streamed on Apple Music.  A week after being streamed, the number of playbacks is the largest number for a Japanese artist on Apple Music.

There is no doubt that Amuro Namie is a legend and her accomplishments continue even after retirement.
