J-pop songstress Namie Amuro adds yet another achievement to her long list of accomplishments, as pre-orders for her final tour DVD/Blu-ray sail past the 900,000 mark. The live recording of her record-breaking farewell jaunt is on its way to becoming the best-selling music DVD/Blu-ray of all time in Japan.

Namie Amuro Final Tour 2018: Finally will contain footage from the final show in Tokyo Dome and from last year’s 25th anniversary Okinawa concert, plus a choice among five different dome concerts edited by five directors to feature varied themes for each show.

So, fans are faced with the conundrum of having to choose from 10 different kinds: either DVD or Blu-ray, then from five different concerts. Many have probably decided to just buy them all since it’ll be the iconic singer’s last video release before she retires from music Sept. 16.

The limited first edition will contain the visuals from the special collaboration with the hit anime One Piece and a multi-angle view of the closing song, “How Do You Feel Now?,” but the phenomenal pre-order figures suggest that this version is slated to become sold out immediately.

Amuro’s previous record for a live DVD/Blu-ray release was her 20th anniversary dome tour from 2012 that went on sale in 2013, and sold 350,000 copies through pre-orders alone. The current all-time record for a music DVD/Blu-ray release in Japan is 904,000 copies, according to Oricon, so her upcoming release has every chance of shattering this record.
