“I enjoyed the unprecedented adult Namie Amuro and the sexy MV that we planned (laughs). Since there’s undressing, there’s a shower scene and there’s a bed scene (laughs). At first we thought it would be good to make the drama with only a professional actor appearing, but this time you see I had go at it (laughs). Does this song end in separation or a happy end, interpretation by listeners seems to differ, but my personal interpretation is that it’s a turning point. After that, will they meet again…… well, who knows what the future holds”

FAST CAR
“Rococo mood but stronger, this is the original SD [Super Dreaming] (laughs). When I first heard this song, a mood like the movie ‘Marie Antoinette’ came into my head and I told the director about this image. Once we had finished the black and silver color scheme for the bed and such, truly colors I have liked for many years, there was a sense of high tension during filming (laughs). As the set was large, we spent two days filming, but having a clear idea of the world that the director wanted to capture, I was able to smoothly enter that world”

Dr.
“This was my first fully animated music video, it’s not just a music video with images, how to express the world view imagined in the song? In the past music videos were something created in order to introduce a song by someone who doesn’t appear on television or people who only want to perform live. Having pictures can more easily communicate the image of a song. Such a sense really suits this song. And it has lyrics like ‘Beyond time and space’. For me even someone like Dr. Chronos, I was convinced has some meaning (laughs)”

LOVE GAME
“This music video was made with a dance battle feel, you get the feeling the dancers are not just having fun. In all the dance battle reaches a 3rd stage, for each stage we filmed a dance scene that had the feeling when it ends it will be forgotten. I concentrated on learning each scene, but as soon as it was finished I did forget it (laughs). Since I play the boss character I get through each stage, whereas dancer Yuusuke at first in the black team joined the white team after he was defeated, so there are many changes of clothes. This music video deserves an award”

Defend Love
“In the sequel to the music video for ‘Dr.’, I finally got to collaborate with Amuro Ray from Gundam. In fact the Gundam production team co-operated including the voice of Amuro Ray, Toru Furuya. In the part of video where I get defeated by Amuro Ray, the story hints that in my memory there is consciousness of an event in which he actually gives help to the future me. A staff member came up with this idea and it is turning into a magnificent tale, I worry about how it continues! I’m looking forward to the next episode (laughs)”

WILD
“Since the back story for this T.kura & michico song was about low childbirth countermeasures, the video was created with that image too. The setting is that clones are increasing and it goes from there. Since this music video was filmed during the ‘BEST FICTION’ tour, rehearsal and shooting time was quite tight, so it was hard work even without the dancers wearing helmets all the time. So please watch it and check out the efforts of the dancers!”
