Matsuda Takumi (a.k.a FIRE, 1970- ) is a bassist who studied music in Los Angeles under Tim Bogert and Gary Willis. He debuted in the trio SUPER TRAPP and then pursued his career as a live and studio musician for other artists. He was part of Amuro Namie’s band for her PAST<FUTURE tour 2010.
His collaborations include Yaida Hitomi, Onitsuka Chihiro, Hamasaki Ayumi, My Little Lover, Puffy, SUGIZO, Terada Keiko, Masaharu Fukuyama, misono, Tsuchiya Anna, Kana Nishino, BENNIE K, Nagase Tomoya, INORAN, FAKE?, Otsuka Ai, Naotaro Moriyama and many others.
