Jeff Lorber (1952- ) is an American songwriter, music producer, arranger, keyboardist and guitarist who founded the band The Jeff Lorber Fusion. He then pursued his career as a solo artist highly influenced by jazz fusion and R&B while working for other artists as a studio musician. He was nominated for Grammy awards at several occasions and finally won in 2018. He is responsible for Amuro Namie’s 2003 song Don’t Lie To Me.

His collaborations include Janet Jackson, Kenny G, Pointed Sisters, Joe Cocker, Mark Anthony, Jeffrey Osborne, Paula Abdul, Al Jarreau, Cheryl Lynn, Nelly, Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey and many others.
