Abe Kaoru is a drummer and photographer. He was part of Amuro Namie’s band for Space of Hip-Pop -TOUR 2005-.
His other collaborations include B’z, globe, Hamasaki Ayumi, KOKIA, Komuro Tetsuya, Kubota Toshinobu, TM Network, trf, Suzuki Ami, Utada Hikaru and many others.
In September 2018, he posted a message on facebook dedicated to Amuro Namie remembering how they toured together in 2005 and the day he went mountain climbing in Yakushima, made a small booklet of local photos to give it both to Amuro and the staff. He felt that the artist was retiring too soon and hoped she would come back for a big concert after one year of rest.
