SPECIAL COLLABORATION

NEVER END was commissioned by late Prime Minister of Japan, Obuchi Keizo, to Komuro Tetsuya for the G8 Kyushu-Okinawa Summit. Obuchi said: “I want you to write a song that will be loved by many people, a song that gives us a vision of harmony and interaction in the world in the 21st century.” He then personnally asked Amuro Namie to sing the song.

NEVER END was performed during Kyushu-Okinawa Summit welcome reception. A portion of the single’s sales also went to the Japan Committee for UNICEF.
