Media rush Namie Amuro who sang “Never end” for international leaders!!

“Although I was nervous, I was able to sing from my heart with a smile.” The international press rushed Namie Amuro for interviews after she presented the image song “NEVER END” at the Kyushu-Okinawa Summit welcome reception!!

The touching night scene of the summit reception is over. While Namie Amuro still feels the heat, media from Hong Kong and other countries scramble for interviews. She takes on their questions in full stride, with no hint of exhaustion. Here are some of the media’s questions.

Q. What’s your impression of the summit reception?
A. The performance was over in flash. But the process to get there was long. Being together with Komuro and the other artists I really enjoyed myself.

Q. Were you nervous facing the leaders of each country?
A. It’s rare you get this kind of opportunity so I was nervous. I was worried about my expression singing, but by looking at all the others having fun I was able to sing from my heart with a smile.

Q. Who was the most handsome leader?
A. Hmm. Am I allowed to say? But Clinton was really attractive. I was able to get all the leaders as well to listen to the song with a smile so I was really happy.

Q. You went on stage with Celina and Zoie from Hong Kong.
A. I didn’t have much time to talk so I can’t say “it was like this,” but both of them are cute and they gave their best even at the rehearsal. They’re two chosen by Komuro so I think they are great singers.

Q. Tell me about “NEVER END.”
A. It’s the image song of the summit and Namie Amuro’s new single too. It’s rare getting the chance to sing such a formal kind of image song and I feel happy to have been working with Komuro. The song has a simple and positive message, like “come together for a great future.” As for my single, it sings of pure love telling each one’s future. Different people may have different takes, but I think it gets across to everyone because of its simple lyrics and melody. Songwise, I’d like you to note the chorus section.
